Phillippa May Design

Phillippa May is a Landscape Designer based in North Yorkshire. Her early years were spent there too, in the countryside around Richmond. At 11 she went to school near Montreux on the shores of Lake Geneva, an eye opening experience and at 17 travelled to East Africa. There a passion for flying took hold for the next 5 years. Common sense eventually prevailed and she returned to England and started a fashion business in Chelsea. 

For 15 years the business flourished but on moving north to start a family her priorities shifted and the outdoors became more alluring. During her degree course at Leeds Met she started her landscape design business and in the decade or so since qualifying has worked on varied comissions at home and overseas.

Commissions include country houses, estates, business parks, memorial woodlands, wedding venues. 

Also international comissions in France, USA, Eire, Kenya and many more commissions in Yorkshire.
